Supervisor, Move Teams - – Jamaica

I. Position Summary:

The Supervisor is responsible for supervising the movement and repositioning of aircraft within the station and hangar as well as maintaining records of all move and irregular operation activities.

II. Essential Functions:

Á• Prepares daily manpower schedules for all Move Team Crewmembers
Á• Monitors all aircraft moves within the station and hangar during the course of a shift
Á• Tracks mandated Ground Operations training as directed by the General Manager to ensure the ramp operations remains in compliance with all training requirements
Á• Tracks and files aircraft move logs
Á• Maintains records of deicing fluid usage and receipts
Á• Monitors and controls all associated winter operations paperwork including Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) mandated deicing records and all associated paperwork for glycol delivery and retention
Á• Monitors and oversees winter operation events, staffing, planning and resources

Supervision Received:

Á• Plans and carries out work assignments and handles problems in accordance with instructions, policies, previous training, or accepted practices in the occupation. Consults with Crewleader on unique situations which do not have clear precedents

Supervisory Duties:

Á• Trains, assigns work to, and checks work of one (1) Crewmember; does not conduct the same work as that Crewmember on a regular basis

Crewleader Responsibility:

Á• Customer Service Crew Move Team
