Description
I. Position Summary:
Ground Operational Lead is responsible for supporting all aspects of the operation, customers and Crewmembers at a station.
II. Essential Functions:
- Provides technical/operational support to Ground Ops Crewmembers
- Works with leadership to determine workload and operational priorities and assigns work accordingly.
- Reports to leadership, causes for flight delays
- Responsible for coordinating and accommodating Customers during irregular operations.
- Provides input on possibilities for operational improvements.
- Reports all security related issues to leadership, is responsible for meeting performance metrics, and guides Crewmembers in safe and correct work procedures
- Resolves customer issues or claims
- Continuously monitors manpower requirements and works with supervisors for appropriate resources.
- Ensures all essential equipment is in working order and reports all non-working equipment
- Ensures Crewmembers are ready to perform duties
- Ensures Crewmembers complete tasks during assigned shifts
- Assists leadership with daily briefings and roll call
- Works with business partners to ensure timely delivery of baggage and push back of flight
- Monitors Crewmember breaks and lunches
- Relieves Crewmembers during breaks and lunches
- Provides operational feedback on performance
- Ensures successful and on time completion of the boarding of customers; bags delivered and loaded; gate area ready for departure; communication of departure readiness to flight deck Crew and operations.

III. Interactions:
Supervision Received:
Receives clear, detailed, and specific instructions and consults with Crewleader on all matters outside the scope of daily responsibilities/activities
