Coordinator Security – Jamaica

Position Summary:

The Coordinator provides daily security coverage for internal JetBlue stakeholder departments as well as Customers in relation to any security related issues that may arise at JFK. The Coordinator responds to situations as they arise and interfaces with external stakeholders such as law enforcement and the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) personnel as needed.

Essential Functions:

Responds to and assists both Crewmembers and, where needed, TSA and law enforcement in ensuring the security of JetBlue operations at JFK
Addresses and works to resolve any security related issues which may arise in the terminal environment including TSA equipment and staffing issues
Observes, records, and reports situations of a security nature that may have an impact on JetBlue operations and/or Crewmembers at JFK
Gathers facts and data related to Security and reports them accurately, through chain of command, orally and in writing


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Computer literate with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and other desktop applications
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills
